Moved by visual arts since an early age, I’m caught by exploring its language through simplicity and an earnest documentary perception, paying detailed attention to the environment and striving to avoid disrupting its essence. I find in photography and filming a rare self-knowing process, an intrinsic learning in which I notice every influence, longing, or fear that tears me apart.
Somehow my work reflects my deepest concerns, exploring both the sense of beauty and ugliness. I feel particularly inspired by nature, our relationship between people, education, and cultures among surfing, architecture, design, and climbing.
