Svaneti Wilderness Retreat 2024
What if we remain? What if, instead of constantly moving, we stay and listen?
In September 2024, I had the privilege of being invited into a wilderness retreat located in the midst of the Caucasus mountains. No calculated daily program, no one preaching to anyone, no goal to achieve. Just a group of friends inquiring together, sharing, and sensing the breathtaking environment unfolding around us.
It was unequivocally humbling. No signal, but gatherings and songs around bonfires, no pretensions or charlatanism, but sincere dialogues and warm-hearted laughs. We were bathed by the stars, soaked in pouring rain, shaken by thunder, and looked after by Svans’ truthful people.
